Lanvin Sneakers 2010 Fall/Winter
Lanvin isn’t a brand we have covered before on itsNOTFORgirls so this is a first. The label was founded in 1889 and started to gain a lot of recent success in 2001 when Alber Elbaz joined the company. Although best known for womens fashion, they have started to grow their mens wear and are set to come out with a collection of sneakers for this Fall/Winter:
We are not sure about the side-panels, featuring a mix of woven materials, kind of look’s as if you have a pair of chickens on your feet ..
hmmm – the itsNOTFORgirls jury is out on these.
Kris Van Assche Sneakers – Fall/Winter 2010
Kris Van Assche is a brand we have covered before, in fact, they were featured in our last weekly round up of sickest fashion posts. We have been paying attention to their current releases and may feature on our itsNOTFORgirls Video Channel soon.
The collection from Kris Van Assche is a lot more dressy than a lot of high tops we feature here (less skatey than supra shoes) but are certainly worth checking out (hint: skinny jeans).
Raf Simons Sneakers 2010 Fall/Winter
Another new brand featured on itsNOTFORgirls … Hurrah !! – Raf Simons is founded by Belgium designer of the same name. Launching his menswear in 2006, it appears Raf Simons sneakers are gaining some famous fans:
The Raf Simon purple sneakers do remind us a little of the Supra TK Societies with the strap at the top. Always a good move as you can wear them either loose or tied up – not sure what I mean ? Check out our video on Supra TK Societies Gray Suede (we show you how to wear them both ways).
JUUN.J’s 2010 fall/winter collection – Sneakers
Now to our final addition and yet another new brand featured. This is little known Chinese footwear label called KIROIC. Kim Kiroic is a young designer looking to break the international market with his unique looking, funky, sick, killer (yes we are fans) high top sneakers. We are paying attention to this brand a looking forward to seeing a lot more on it.
