Earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan have been boosted with the announcement of a series of online auctions organized by the CDFA (Council of Fashion Designers of America). The council has pulled together many of the world’s leading fashion and media brands for the events that are being called the Fashion & Friends for Japan auctions.
What are the prizes I hear you whisper? How about a get together with Vogue head honcho Anna Wintour? Too scary? Then how about a trip to New York for an experience with the New York Yankees? Too sporty? Ok, enough teasing, we all know the big one is a week-long stay at Diane Von Furstenberg’s Harbour Island Beach House with a $1000 shopping binge at any DVF boutique.
The auction, hosted on charitybuzz, is kicking off right now until April 28th and the CDFA are getting the word out on Twitter (#HelpJapan and #Fashion4Japan), website banners and of course Facebook.
