Let’s face it, we all love a pair of Converse Hightops. Well at the recent Milan Fashion Week we were treated to some pretty sick versions of the well known brand. The luxury italian fashion brand Missoni show cased some pretty cool pairs of converse. The first pair on show are the above in grey and black with the familiar Missoni weave pattern. These converse hightops are part of their Fall/Winter 2011 collection. If you think these are cool check out the below (Converse Auckland Racer)
These are part of the same collaboration but won’t be available until the Spring/Summer collection 2012. They are based on the converse auckland racer that was first brought out in the 1970′s. Combined with the famous Missoni knit pattern as a complement to a set of vintage-style track suit, designed by Ottavio Missoni himself back in 1948. Unlike the Chuck Taylor collaboration above these will not be great with all types of skinny jean (check out how to wear high tops for men or what shoes to wear with skinny jeans), you need to choose carefully with these.
