Monster’s cable‘s founder Noah Lee has recently seen his sidekick (and son) Kevin Lee take of with his very own branch of the product. He was instrumental to the success of the Beats by Dr. Dre and with Scott Hix and Seth Combs he has established SOL Republic. The acronym stands for Soundtrack of Life and has two main objectives – deliver high quality sound at affordable prices. Keeping the price a cool $100 to $150 mark they are already much cheaper than the Dre beats.

The first edition is going to be the Tracks On-The-Ear heaphones, an innovative headphone with one-piece adjustable FlexTech polymer headband, something that is literally unbreakable. The removable ear cups mean easy storage and portable form factor. There will also the Amps In-Ear model as well. Both customizable in different colors with a price of $100 for the basic Tracks Over-The-Ear headphone, $130 for premium HD edition, and $60 for the basic Amps In-Ear headphone, $100 for the HD variant.
