It's Not For Girls

Four Reasons Nike Hightops Are Still a Strong Competitor

by The Rebel on November 23, 2010

With the massive trend change in footwear over the last couple of years Nike have to keep on their toes to remain one of the most popular and stylish kicks in the market. We believe they have achieved this and decided to give you guys four SICK examples of Nike Hightops today.

Lets begin with the Nike Blazer Mid-Black/Del-Sol/Red shoe which features a black leather construction and an extremely eye catching colorway of red and dell-sol yellow.

Next up we bring you the Nike Dunk High Premium-Dark Plum Canvas which are a great example of what Nike SB can do. This is a simple sneaker in a sick shade of plum. Finished with a Plum leather swoosh, a Plum midsole (You are going to need to like the color PLUM) and a black outsole and liner.

Our third choice is Nike Dunk SB Mid-Red. Pimping out a classic Nike re-introduced an improved version of this shoe, which was originally released ten years ago. They have taken away the velcro strap on the ankle, revised tread pattern for extra grip and flexibility. All in all they have done a great job re-inventing this sneaker.

Our final Choice is the Haroshi x Nike-Dunk. Haroshi has made a name for himself by recycling old skateboard decks and transforming them into works of art. Well let you decide for yourself what you make of this sneaker. We at itsnotforgirls believe that some collaborations don’t always work but you have to respect the creative effort.
