The MOBO Awards 2011 were held in Glasgow on 5th October, the big winner on the night was Jessie J who picked up awards for Best UK Act, Best Newcomer, Best Song and Best Album. Other winners were Tinie Tempah for Best Hip-Hop/ Grime Act, Tinchy Stryder & Dappy (who looked like they belonged at the kiddies table compared to the grown up suited folk) won Best Video, Rihanna won Best International Act, Alborosie won Best Reggae, Kairos 4TET got Best Jazz Act, Wizkid got Best African Act, Triple O was Best Gospel Act, Adele won Best R&B/ Soul Act and Boyz II Men received a nod for Outstanding Contribution to Music.
Unfortunately things weren’t too exciting in terms of mens fashion seen as most of the men folk went for the suited and booted look, snazzy as they were. The accessory of choice seemed to be sunglasses to cater for those pesky sunny October nights in Glasgow!!!
