6 Most Stylish Superheroes and their Alter Egos

by misssneakerpimp on October 25, 2011

You may have heard of the new craze of real life superheroes fighting crime fully kitted out in superhero attire and maintaining secret identities…until they get arrested that is! The big news story in Seattle last week was when self-proclaimed superhero Phoenix Jones was arrested for pepper spraying four individuals outside a nightclub in order to break up a fight. Jones was unmasked by police and his true identity was revealed as Benjamin John Francis Fodor. He told reporters he took on the Phoenix Jones alter ego because wanted to make a difference in his neighborhood…that’s one way of doing it!!!

Phoenix Jones is by no means on his own in his fight against crime as other well known real-life superheroes to take to the streets include Citizen Prime and Superbarrio to name but a few.

Citizen Prime

Superbarrio

But amidst all of this commotion have we lost sight of what superheroes are really all about….the awesome outfits and slick alter ego style!!!! We’ve made a list below of the most stylish men in superhero land along with their alter egos.

1. Superman

Superman

Clark Kent

Rockin’ the original nerd look Christopher Reeves as Clark Kent looks pretty snazzy in his trilby hat, nerd glasses and trench coat.

2. Batman

Batman The Dark Knight

Bruce Wayne

Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne dons pricey Armani suits for an effortlessly slick look.

3. Iron Man

Iron Man

Tony Stark

Dressed as only a billionaire could Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark.

4. Thor

Thor

Thor On Earth

A casual outfit on earth helps Thor to blend in to everyday life…his the massive muscles, super strength and weird lingo might give him away though.

5. Captain America

Captain America

Steve Rogers

An all American casual look by day for Chris Evans as Steve Rogers but kick ass patriotic suit by night.

6. Spiderman

Spiderman

Peter Parker

We went for the new Spiderman 2012 look here ‘cos it’s so much slicker than the older ones. Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker wears casual college kid attire so you’d never suspect him!

My vote goes to Christian Bale in Batman the Dark Knight as both his superhero and alter ego attire are ultimately awesome. Whoever your favourite is I think we can all agree we’ve come a long way from the old POW! BOOM! KABLAM! Batman days in terms of superhero style.
