Converse have kept up their comic influenced Chucks with these two new editions. We’ll begin with Batman and they have not one but two cool designs the first of which reflects the character himself. They have the classic black/yellow colorway which features an illustration of Batman in monotone over black canvas, highlighted by a yellow tongue tag and inner lining. The other ones are a more comic based design with multicolored illustrations depicting action scenes. Batman logo on the tongue is made up of gray tones and matches well with the silver metal eyelets and white shoe laces.
Just when you thought it was going to be all mainstream characters they have released a Green Lantern influenced pair. This could be to go against the grain a bit or it could even be to promote the Green Lantern film coming out later this year, either way they are a cool pair of converse hightops. The design source for this sneaker is the comic book illustration of Green Lantern in action pose with the cityscape in the background. Green/black/white color scheme emphasizes the comic character and the Green Lantern logo is proudly placed on the tongue tag.
