One American classic meets another, as the interest in Americana styling grow, so are opportunities for convergence of genres like CONVERSE and Dickies. For Spring 2011, the 2 labels announced 2 designs from their joint effort. One is the Chuck Taylor All Star, the anointed American classic but now with Dickies supplied canvas and its seal of approval. The other is a hybrid of sort, the Chuck Taylor All Star Classic Boot. Essentially a Chuck Taylor All Star High with subtle inspiration from workboots.
