by Fashion Dude on October 12, 2011

Dark evenings, dark mornings, cold days, cold nights, wind, rain and the f***ing X-factor!! Yes, it’s officially Winter so when you are not trying to keep warm, dodge the rain or being subjected to idiots explaining how it has always been their dream to sing and dance, you can at least begin to plan out your Winter wardrobe.

This is part 1 of many warm, comfy and stylish posts we will be bring to you over the coming weeks to help you pack out the right attire this winter. We are going to start of with mens knitwear which is becoming more and more popular with many of the big designers getting involved. Although knitwear doesn’t sound like the most attractive clothing as we all have those dodgy Christmas jumpers and anything our grannies may have knitted for us in the past in mind. There are however plenty of options when it comes to creating outfits and separating you from the crowd. There are many ways to do this; pattern, colour, material, texture and detailing being the key points to consider. Much like mens bags fashion it has suddenly become ok to include these items into your clothing range.

Today’s focus will be on the Cable Knit Jumper which comes in a range of styles.

Why You Should Have a Cable Knitwear Jumper

It’s the perfect winter jumper in that it’s warm, cosy and will match up with most things so you can just throw it on whenever it suits. It looks a lot more modern and sophisticated than that of a sports hoodie for those of you who prefer to dress up a little. It looks good both fitted and a little a loose depending on preference, in fact, if you are a slimmer build then these jumpers will bulk you out a bit. Finally, you get to choose from a wide range of colours, styles and patterns so you get a nice individual look and feel.

What’s your thoughts on mens knitwear?
